This notice describes what information obrienlaw.us collects and how O’Brien Law (the firm) uses it.
Information the site collects
The contact form asks for your name, phone number, email address, the kind of matter, and a message. Submitting the form sends that information to the firm by email. The site’s hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which record the address of the device that requested a page, the page requested, and the time. If the site uses analytics, the analytics provider collects information about page views in aggregate.
How the firm uses it
The firm uses contact form submissions to respond to your inquiry and, if you become a client, to open your file. It does not sell or rent information collected through the site and does not share it with third parties other than the service providers that host the site and deliver email.
Confidentiality
Sending a message through the site does not create an attorney-client relationship, and a message sent before the firm has agreed to represent you is not protected the way a client’s communications are. Do not include confidential details until the firm confirms it can take the matter.
Keeping and removing your information
Form submissions are kept as long as they are needed to respond to you or to maintain a client file. To ask what information the firm holds about you or to have it removed, call (321) 321-3426 or write to the office at 870 N Miramar Ave, Suite 234, Melbourne, Florida 32903.
Changes
The firm may update this notice as the site changes. The date it was last updated appears below.
